Dr. Umesh K. Palas is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU), Vinzol, Godhra, Gujarat. With a Ph.D., M.Phil., M.A., and B.Ed. from Sardar Patel University, he specialises in modern history, and his research interests focus on tribal studies, particularly the impact of modernisation on tribal society. He has published 6 research papers in different peer-reviewed journals and also presented research papers at numerous international/national level seminars, conferences and workshops. He previously taught at Navgujarat Arts College, Balasinor, for one year and six months. He is skilled in academic writing, research methodologies, and student engagement.
